Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Go Wild!
Our planet is known as the "green planet", but something sad is happening: It is losing its color!. To keep it green we must protect our environment which includes water, earth, and the air we breathe. What can be done? A lot, actually. To start, follow the guide to be "green": REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE and GO WILD!.
Reduce the amount of things you use. For example, taking a shorter shower means you are using less water and less fuel to heat, so you decrease the consumption of water and electricity.
Reuse things when you can. Avoid throwing away household items such as furniture, toys or clothing. If a toy is not to your liking you can give it to another child or bring it to a thrift shop. That is one fewer toy to produce, pack and transport.
Recycle cans, bottles, paper, books, etc. Many of the packaging of the products we consume daily are recyclable. This means they can be subjected to certain processes so they can be reused. Paper, for example, can be recycled to make other types of paper and other products derived again.
4- GO WILD!
Enjoy the outdoors. There is much to learn from nature and one of the most simple and fun ways to do it is to go out. Notice how the ants collect leaves or the bees collect pollen. Find out all creatures contribute to a green and healthy forest.
Every day we make decisions that can affect the amount of waste and pollution that occurs in the world. Friends, green earth needs heroes!! Do you want to be a green hero? So get to work! Together we will work to keep our planet green. Your mission is to create a green club. All members have the responsibility to monitor and remind their family, neighbours, and friends the guide to be green: REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE AND ENJOY THE ENVIRONMENT!
All united to save our green planet!
